Founded in 1826, the Old Pulteney distillery was completely rebuilt in 1958. Always looking to perfect its craft, this version boasts with pride all the ingredients which made the reputation of this distillery from the north of Scotland. In other words, a constant salinity, an oily and creamy texture, a subtle blend of fruity and herbaceous sequences without forgetting that malted barley remains at the very heart of this release.
Nose: Maritime, candied fruits, curry.
Palate: Mineral, verbena, sage, tart.
Finish: Spicy, lactic, vanilla and woody.
